More than 650 employees work daily in the Tecsa factory in Roșiorii de Vede, an industrial center of large proportions where the favorite snacks of children, parents and grandparents are produced.

We are a community passionate about the food industry and delicious desserts, and our mission is to bring the sublime taste of Tecsa into every home.

A sweet past for a sweet future

For over 2 decades, the Tecsa factory has been preparing with mastery and passion the most delicious and appreciated desserts in Romania.

Investments in our factory went hand in hand with the success of the products, thus the expansion of the production capacity and the endowment of the factory with new production lines for new product groups started in 2005-2006, with investments of over 5 million euros and continues in the present with new technical improvements and know-how.

The sustained investments have increased the value and quality of our products in order to obtain the most demanding certifications in the food industry and the recognition of the quality of the products by the final consumer. Since the scaling of the production capacity, we have been successfully operating in the top three most important manufacturers on a national level with all product categories in the portfolio.

We are annually among the top 3 manufacturers of biscuits and wafers in Romania in terms of production and distribution in the rankings made by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.

Year by year the company has grown in terms of economic weight, technical equipment, quality and level of staff training, the structure and quality of the products and implicitly the position and notoriety in the market.

A factory with the taste and fragrance of childhood

The factory is equipped with production lines designed for all product categories from the Tecsa portfolio. The manufacturing process is an integrated circuit that includes all the necessary steps, from receiving and processing raw materials to packaging, loading and shipping to distributors.

In the end, the sum of our efforts is the proof of the sublime Tecsa taste for our customers of all ages.

High capacity production

We operate a large capacity manufacturing plant, equipped with modern technological machinery, and maintain close control over production values. We prepare a range of high quality products and support our standards through laboratory analysis on daily samples and careful management of all stages of production.

Since its foundation, the Tecsa factory has been focusing its efforts on the production of biscuits, plain or with cream, sweet or salty, of all shapes and for all silhouettes. We refined the production of biscuits at the level of recipes, creams, baking methods and tastes in order to be competitive in a very dynamic pastry market in Romania.

The love for baking is measured in respect for ingredients, recipes, procedures, especially quality control. We apply the same principles to the production of all assortments of desserts in the Tecsa portfolio to achieve the desired result – the Sublime Tecsa Taste.

Food quality and safety

We have perfected a set of internal rules, which we rigorously verify both through internal and external audits. Considering the national legislation and the international and European recommendations regarding food safety, we have implemented a food safety system based on the HACCP method, namely IFS (International Food Standard) since 2007.

The annual audit conducted by an IFS-authorized company leads to the maintenance of a high quality level of the Tecsa products.

The Tecsa factory is a dynamic work environment, oriented towards the safety and protection of employees, including maintaining a demanding standard of hygiene and sanitation. Factory engineers wear full protective equipment and are trained in recommended labor protection standards.
